“I honestly wouldn’t know what that first album was. I never really had that moment that some musicians talk about when rock’n’roll kicked open the door for them.

“I don’t remember because it seems as though music was just kind of some thing that I’ve always been interested in. I have older brothers who played music before I did, and music just seemed to fall right into place for me.

“But I do remember the first bands that I liked a lot, and I remember collecting all their stuff -- bands like X, the Jam and the Clash.

“I don’t remember the very first one, though.”
