“Dr. Buzzard’s Original Savannah Band, who were one of my favorite, favorite groups. I really loved that band, but then they broke up, and some of them went on to form Kid Creole & the Coconuts, which was a pretty good group, too.

“I also remember buying albums by Lakeside and a group called Sun, who had a real big hit called ‘Radioactive.’ And, of course, I had a big collection of 45s. I still do.”
