“Oh gee, the first album that I bought was probably a gospel album. When we were kids, we were big into southern gospel music, and that’s what we grew up on. So probably the first album that I bought was by somebody like the Blackwood Brothers or the Statesmen. That’s where we got our love of group singing.”
